My Grandfather, Kurt Johannes Jahn, was born in Sehma, a small village in the state of Saxony in Germany. He came to the US as a young man. He met and married Florentine Mazzolini, a fellow immigrant, in San Francisco where they lived for many years while raising their family. They moved to Santa Rosa in the mid 1940's where they then lived for the rest of their lives. Kurt owned his own Real Estate Co. in Santa Rosa, had a street named after him, and was respected and loved by his family, friends and the community.
