Ethel K. Erber (nee Koeppen), 87, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away on July 24, 2012. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of the late Roger H., who passed away on September 6, 2011; loving mother of Roger A. (Margaret) Erber and Jill (Donald) Knight; cherished grandmother of Jeanine, Jeremy, Jessica, Joshua, Jonathon, Joseph, Joanna and Josiah; proud great-grandmother of 11; and dear sister of Jeanette (the late Wallace) Kiehl, Patricia (the late Gene) Schiavone and the late Ernest (Aurora) Koeppen. Ethel was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She will lie in state on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 855 Lee Street in Des Plaines.
