David Michael Kennedy 72, of Marmaduke, AR., passed from this life on Monday August 20, 2012, at his residence.

David was born on May 9, 1940, to the late Young Jr. and Mae (Simpkins) Kennedy in Devon, West Virginia.

He was a cabinetmaker, carpenter, and a member of the Primative Baptist Church in Rector.

Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents

David is survived by his loving wife: Ann Kennedy of the home; two sons: David Jonathan Kennedy of Paragould, Ryan Edward Kennedy of Marmaduke; two daughters: Michelle Kiehlen and Michael, Tiffany Thompson of Piggott; five brothers: Nicky, Bill, Bobby Joe, Butch, and John Kennedy, two sisters: Sally Mobley and Lynn Wolfford both of Virginia; eight grandchildren: Ashley and Margaret Bandy, Michael Kiehlen, Alyssa, April, and Ryan Kennedy, Bryan Linton, Earl Silva; and one great grandchild: Tyson Smith.

Funeral services were at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke. Burial was at Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke.
