John Bougger Died in Denver.

John Bougger, formerly of David City, brother of Frank P. Bougger and Mrs. John Medinger, died in Denver, Colo., Tuesday, Dec. 10. He went there three years ago in hope of benefit to health. His body arrived in David City Saturday, Dec. 14. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Colleran at St. Francis Catholic church in Center township. The pallbearers were August Herms, Henry Jacobs, Peter Jacobs, Homer Sims, Anton Van Brooks and George Zegers. John Bougger was born in Butler county October 15, 1874, and grew to manhood in Butler county. He had many friends here and was a young man of exemplary life and character. He was a faithful member of the Catholic church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus He is survived by one brother, Frank P. Bougger, and four sisters, Mrs. Pier Speicher of Columbus, Mrs. John Medinger of David City and two sisters who are Sisters of Charity at Hartington, Neb.
