George A. Wilke, 79, of 2113 N. 20th St., died at his home Monday afternoon after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was born Jan 31, 1902, in the Town of Mosel, son of the late Henry and Sophie Bull Wilke.
On June 7,1933, he married Gladys Huhn in the Town of Centerville.
Mr. Wilke was employed at Kohler Co. for 25 years and Gilson Brothers Co., Plymouth, for 12 years, retiring in 1969.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and its senior citizens group.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James (La Vonne) Dassler; two sons, Darrell and Kenneth, all of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nickel-Lippert Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin C. Bek, pastor, will officiates. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until the time of services Thursday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Wilke's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
