Karl was the son of Robert (Bob) and Rita Kreusch, and the grandson of Gustave (Gus) Adolphe Kreusch, Jr. and Claire Laurencia Hans. Karl's grandparents and his father immigrated to America from Belgium in the 1940s. Karl was born in North Carolina, and grew up in Center Reach, Long island, New York. He has two brothers, Walter and Eric. Karl died following an illness at the age of 22 years. He was residing in North Carolina at the time of his death.
