Daughter of Torberg Arnesson and Ragnhild Erlingsdatter. She belonged to the Giskeatten, a powerful family from Giske in the region of Sunnmore. She married Harald III Sigurdsson, king of Norway, in 1048. However, there is some speculation whether she was actually Harald's wife or only his concubine. She had two sons by Harald III (Olaf III Kyrre Haraldsson and Mangus II Haraldsson) and they both became kings of Norway after the death of Harald III at the Battle of Stamford Bridge in England. She died sometime after 1066, her burial location is unknown.
