Last Rites Held For Mrs. Roy Margritz

Funeral services for Elizabeth S. Margritz were held Saturday,
September 26, at the Butte Community Church with Rev. Vern
Ekerholm officiating. Burial was made at Norfolk, Nebr.
Pallbearers were , Adrian Mitchell of Atkinson, James McNulty,
Frances Curran, Lyle Vesquist, and Orville Miller of O'Neill.
Howard Story accompanied by Mrs. C. J. Tomek at the piano,
sang, "Goodnight and Good Morning" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Elizabeth S. Margitz

Elizabeth S. Margritz, daughter of Fred and Margaret Schwindt,
was born at Lincoln, August 28, 1912, and passed away Sept.
23, 1954 in the hospital at O'Neill, after an illness of seven months.
She was baptized at Lincoln by Rev. John Arnold and also
attended the Hayward School. She was later confirmed at Harvard,
Nebr. on April 16, 1927 by Rev. Louis Moser.
She was united in marriage to Roy Edward Margritz on June 10, 1936
in Zion's Reformed Church.
The family moved to the Sire Ranch northeast of O'Neill in December
of 1950.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Brenda Kay 14,
Bonna Beth 12, and Susan B. 6; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schwindt,
Clay Center, Nebr., six sisters, Mrs. Catherine Amen of Denver, Colo.;
Mrs. Chrystene Deines of Orchard, Nebr.; Mrs. Maria Swanson of Hastings,
Nebr.; Mrs. Margaret Schleip of Holyoke, Colo.; Mrs. Lee Bunnel of Popular,
Mont.; Mrs. Pauline Sorge of Fremont, Nebr. Three brothers, George
Schwindt of Harvard, Nebr.; John Schwindt of Clay Center and Fred
Schwindt Jr., of Clay Center and a host of loved ones and friends.
