Mrs. Susan Lauber, widow of Henry Lauber of Ulster Heights, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Susan McDowell on North Main street, Ellenville, on Wednesday at the age of 86 years and ten months. Her illness dated from Friday last. Mrs. Lauber was the daughter of Joseph Tyrell and was born and lived her long life at Ulster Heights, coming recently to visit her daughter, where she died. Her husband died seventeen years ago. She was the mother of ten children, seven surviving: George Lauber of Dairyland, Mrs. Sophia DePuy at Woodbourne, Frank Lauber of Centerville Station, Mrs. Charles Eckert of Grahamsville, Henry Lauber of Ulster Heights, Mrs. S. S. Sager, Kingston, Mrs. McDowell, Ellenville. Thirty-three grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held at the M. E. Church at Ulster Heights, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be made in the family plot in the cemetery at Ulster Heights.
