She the daughter of Isador and Anna Maria (Steffen) Baumann.

Anastasia was first married Nov 25, 1871 to John Kremer at St. Joseph Church, Camp Spring, Ky.
She had 4 children with him: Maria Louisa 1872-1872; Anna Margaretha (twin of Maria Louisa) 1872-1881; John Fidel Kremer 1875-1948 and Thomas Isidore Gregory Kremer born 1877.
After John's death in 1880, Anastasia married the widowed William Ambach on Sept. 1, 1882 in Campbell Co, Ky.
