A funeral Mass for Paul J. "X" Albert, 58, of Hummel Road, Shelby, RD 2, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church by the Rev. Bernard A. Kokocinski. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Shelby with military graveside services conducted by the
Shelby American Legion.

Calling hours will be Sunday anytime afternoon at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and left at the funeral home.

Mr. Albert died early Thursday, November 19, 1987, in Marquette (Mich.) General Hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1929, in Shelby to William and Loretta Sifferlin Albert. He was a painter with Reining Painting in Mansfield. He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles, the Owls Club and the American Legion, all in Shelby. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Helene Knapp Albert, whom he married April 10, 1953; two daughters, Amy Albert of Shelby and Mrs. Gary (Julie) Fellure of Newark; two grandsons; and two sisters, Mrs. David (Dorothy) Heiland Walker and Mrs. Richard (Mickey) Friebel, both of Shelby. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Paula in 1953 and Colleen in 1980; one grandson; and one brother, Kenneth.
