Mrs. Nellie McClary Crews, 89, of Sealston died Saturday at Mary Washington Hospital.
A native of Orange County, Mrs. Crews retired in 1958 as a clerk typist for the Naval Gun Factory in Alexandria. She worked for the federal government for about 15 years. She had been a resident of King George County since 1948 and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Wardlow E. Trainor of Sealston; two brothers, Eugene McClary and Arthur McClary both of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Reed of Bladensburg, Md., and Mrs. Flora Peacher of Manassas; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Willis Dempsey and the Rev. Ronald G. Barton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be George W. Garner, William W. Young, John W. Rollins, Floyd Peregoy, Robert Catlett and Robert Monteith.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad.
