Arnold H Roepker, 68, of St. Libory died Tuesday night at a Grand Island hospital.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Libory Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Warner will officiate. Burial will be Thursday after 6 p.m. at the church, with a rosary at 8. Keating Mortuary of Elba is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roepker was born Dec. 4, 1915, at St. Libory, the son of Anton and Johanna Grotz Roepker. He grew up in the St. Libory area and received his education there.
On Oct. 25, 1938, he married Agnes Wissing at St. Libory. They farmed in the St. Libory area.
He was member of the St. Libory parish and the Platt-Deutsch Society in Grand Island.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Leanne) McMullen and Mrs. Kenneth (Darlene) Jansen, both of Grand Island; five grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred of St. Libory and Kennth of Elwood, and two sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Marie) Faber of Holstein and Mrs. Genevieve Mathis of Grand Island.
