Felicia L. (Basti) Svoboda, 79, went to be the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Rudy Svoboda, Binghamton. She was predeceased by her parents, Clara and Peter Basti. She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanmarie and David George, Binghamton; one son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Ilsa Svoboda, Suffern, N.Y.; grandchildren, Julianne George, Clarks Summit, Pa., Robert and Abigail George, San Antonio, Tex., Noah, Oliver, and Ursula Svoboda, Suffern, N.Y. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Dolores Gross, Laura Gill, Nickie and Neil Giorgio, Peter and Kathryn Basti, Nick and Sandi Basti, Rosita and Sonny DiIorio, Carmie Hranek, Madeline and Phil Schrader, Anthony and Fran Basti, and Anita and Bennie Tino; also many nieces and nephews. Felicia was a charter member of the American Legion Post 1645 Auxiliary, was also its past president and a life member. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 9:15 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y. and continue at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
