Ranked as one of the 500 best drummers in the world by Drummerworld Magazine, Marvin played with or accompanied well-known stars like Jessica Simpson, Stevie Wonder and Destiny's Child. Over the course of his career, he accompanied virtually every major artist in contemporary gospel. Eventhough his sound, both in-studio and live, placed him in high demand, he also produced albums for local and national performers. He died in Texas after a brief illness.
