Funeral services for Barbara A. Brinkman, 62, of Angleton, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 1998 at Palms Funeral Home with the Rev. C. E. Tipton officiating. Burial will follow at the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., at Palms Funeral Home. Mrs. Brinkman was born on May 26, 1936, in Wells, Maine to Steven John and Helen Milinski. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She served in the Women's Army Corps and was a member of the VFW and the Extension Homemakers Club. She passed away on Dec. 4, 1998 at the VA Hospital in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Brinkman. Survivors include her four sons, Kenneth Brinkman, Steven Brinkman, Terry Brinkman and Kevin Brinkman, all of Angleton; sister, Adella Stamper of Fernando Beach, Fla.; brohters, Robert Monroe of Ohio, Leonard Milinski of Dayton, Ohio and Frank Milinski of Maine; grandchildren, Bridgett Brinkman, Matthew Brinkman and Jacob Brinkman. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be A. E. "Pete" McWhorter, Jim Williams, Mark Williams, Alex Trevino, Michael Warner and Michael Weatherly.
