MILTON— David Jon Borgwardt, 41, of 125 Parkview Dr., Milton, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Mercy Health System. He was born on Jan. 26, 1963, in Edgerton, the son of Eugene (Esther Osmond) Borgwardt. He graduated from Milton Union High School. He worked at the Deans Food Co., Rockford, IL. He was a lifelong resident of Milton. David is survived by 3 brothers: Donald (Linda) of Milton, Daniel (Debra) of Milton and Dennis (Becky) of Janesville; 3 sisters: Janice Torpy of Milton, Joyce Eastman of Janesville and Joan (David) Schultz of Milton; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dale; and a sister, Judith Borgwardt Case. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, Milton, with Rev. Glenn Skatrud officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial has been established. Burial will be in Milton cemetery at a later date.
