GERTRUDE E. MARSH

Mrs. Gertrude E. Marsh, 65, Hillcrest Addition, died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Bartholomew County Hospital in Columbus.

Mrs. Marsh was born May 11, 1911, in Versailles and her parents were Henry and Anna (Barth) Ehlers. She had lived in Greensburg the past three years and prior to that time she had lived in Martinsville, Paoli and Mitchell, spending the major part of her life in Cincinnati, where she was employed at the Powell Valve Company over 25 years.

She was a member of the Greensburg First Baptist Church, of the Lois Chapter OES, of the B.P.W. Club and of Phi Beta Psi.

She was married Sept. 14, 1951 to Claude Marsh in Paoli and he survives with her mother, Mrs. Henry Ehlers, Cincinnati; a step son, Keith Marsh, Mt. Healthy, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Ernst (Norma) McCarter, Cheviot, Ohio, and four grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home and burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. The family requests that memorials be in the form of contributions to the Decatur County Cancer Society.
