John Miller, 91, Elmhurst, Illinois, formerly of Appleton, died at Villa Park IL, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday after a long illness. He was born March 1, 1868, at Brownsville, Mich.,and lived in Appleton most of his life. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and had been employed by the Appleton Telephone Company for 27 years. He moved to Elmhurst in 1953.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. today at the Riverside cemetery chapel, with the Rev. H. Shelby Lee, pastor of First Congregational Church, Appleton, in charge. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, Elmhurst, Ill. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Miller is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Beyer, Elmhurst, Ill., and one grandchild.
