Amy Kay (Bergfield) Reinhard, 42, of Arcola, IL passed away at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2001 at the Arcola Free Methodist Church, 231 North Walnut, Arcola, IL. Rev. Tim Massengill, Rev. James Reinhard, and Rev. Walter Truex will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street, Arcola, IL.

Amy was born on January 23, 1959, in Tuscola, IL. A daughter of Lloyd and Phyllis (Spanhook) Bergfield. She married Mark Reinhard August 9,1981 in Arcola, IL.

She is survived by: 1 Daughter, Breanne Lynn Reinhard of Arcola, IL; Breanne's Father, Mark Reinhard of Springfield, IL; Her parents, Lloyd and Phyllis Bergfield of Arcola, IL; 2 Brothers, Ebby Bergfield of Arcola, IL and Don Bergfield and his wife Carol of Bellflower, IL; 2 Nephews, Tyler Bergfield who is serving in the mission field in the Philippines and Lee Bergfield of Bellflower, IL; 1 Niece: Crystal Bergfield of Arcola, IL.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents.

Amy was a lay minister and a member of the Arcola Free Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Arcola Ministerial Association, Christian Counselors of America, and the Jeff Gordon Fan Club. Amy was honored to be crowned Miss Arcola in 1976. She graduated in 1977 from Arcola High School and she was very active in student council, National Honor Society, basketball, volleyball, and scholastic bowl. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Greenville College where she was a member of the Ladies of El Penice. In 1986 she graduated with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Amy was a mental health therapist at Montgomery County Mental Health in Hillsboro, IL from 1981 to 1995. She became director in 1985. In the fall of 1995 Amy moved to Arcola and operated a private practice. She was very active at the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro and Arcola.

Memorials may be made to establish an Arcola High School Scholastic Bowl award or to the Arcola Free Methodist Church.
