Stephanie Jean Ziegler, 36, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Nampa, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her home.

She was born August 11, 1976 in Nampa, Idaho. Stephanie and her brother, Steven Jr., were raised by their loving father Steven Ziegler till his death in 1985. After Steven's death John and Arlene Ziegler (Grandpa and Grandma Ziggie) raised Stephanie and Steven.

The Ziegler family was very close-knit; it was common place for Grandpa and Grandma to take all the cousins camping, fishing, picnicking, hunting, to Silver City, Stanley, or go to the cabin in McCall. One very special vacation was to Disney World in Florida.

Stephanie's greatest accomplishment was graduating from Kuna High in 1995. She enjoyed going to school, her friends and teachers. Most of all she enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. She competed in cross county skiing, soccer and bowling.

After both John and Arlene passed away, their daughter Teresa (Ziegler) and uncle Lon Kenneda of Evanston, Wyoming became Stephanie's guardian. Stephanie relocated to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she was employed at Lowe's. She was a volunteer at Magic City as their representative liaison between Magic City and the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club. She was active in Special Olympics where she enjoyed competing in soccer and bowling.

Stephanie loved her brother, family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Ziegler, Grandpa and Grandma Ziggie, and uncle, Gary Ziegler.

Stephanie is survived by her brother, Steven Ziegler, of Boise; her very special Uncle Glenn, of Tacoma, WA; aunts: Teresa (Lon) Kenneda, Evanston, WY, Jan (Joe) Aman, Homedale, and Marshia Ziegler, Caldwell; cousins: Eric (Laurie) Kenneda, Cheyenne, WY, Ryan (Dawn) Kenneda, Elk Mt., WY, Kallie Nettleton, Boise, Lori (Adam) Bahem, Caldwell, Kevin Nettleton, Jackson Hole, WY, Carol (Jan) Hayes, Nixon, MT, and many other cousins in Washington; nieces: Ellen and Morgan Kenneda, Elk MT., WY, Sarah Nettleton, Boise, Blaine, Ty and Kasen Bahem, Caldwell.
