Barbara Ann Husemann
Barbara Ann Husemann, 60, of Sundown, Texas, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 29, 1948, in Avon, where she was adopted by Fritz and Henrietta Brierton of Camp Point. She attended the Camp Point Grade School and was a 1966 graduate of Central High School near Camp Point. Barbara married Dennis Husemann on May 13, 1967. She worked as an licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for several years in Lubbock hospitals. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Husemann of Sundown; three sons, Douglas Husemann of McKinney, Texas, Kevin Husemann of Snoqualmie, Wash., and Brian Husemann of Cadiz, Ky.; grandchildren, Michael and Morgan Husemann of Littlefield, Texas, and Allison and Sam Husemann of Snoqualmie; a sister, Bonnie Richardson of Chandler, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Husemann, and her parents, Fritz and Henrietta Brierton. SERVICES: Sundown (special) private memorial services for Barbara Ann Husemann are planned for a later date. Cremation has been accorded. ARRANGEMENTS: Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield, Texas.
