Caroline Anna Louise Asche, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hansjurgen was born in Gage County, Nebr. on April 3, 1891 and passed away at her home on Nov. 13, 1943 at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 10 days.
She was united in marriage at Deshler to Cord Asche. This union was blessed with five children. She leaves to mourn her husband, Cord Asche five children-- Mrs.. Renata Wolf of Deshler, George Asche of Bakersfield, California, Mrs. Marion Eggerts of Ruskin, Sgt. Clarance Asche of Camp Granitte, Los Angeles, California and Norman Asche at home, three step children--Mrs. Ella Luntzmann of Byron, Louis Asche of Hebron and Mrs. Emma Harder of Deshler; five sisters, Mrs. Louise Poppe of Deshler, Mrs. Ida Vieselmeyer of Chester, Mrs. Anna Seitz of Hastings, Mrs. Ella Schleif of Hebron and Mrs. Emma Maschmann of Ruskin, nine grandchildren; her only brother preceded her in death in Dec., 1911.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Peter's Church. Burial was made in St. Peter's Cemetery.
