Whitesboro - Marian Kennerknecht Luley, 85, of Whitesboro, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. Marian was born in Utica on August 30, 1926, a daughter of Robert and Mildred (Chabott) Kennerknecht.
At St. Joseph's Church, Utica, on June 2, 1951, she married Leo J. Luley, a blessed union of 32 years until his death in 1983.
Marian is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Anne and David Esch, Barneveld; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Luley and Elizabeth VanDyke, Whitesboro, and Donald and Eileen Luley, Barneveld; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Doris and John Bergin, Ilion, Arlene McNally, Whitesboro, Joan Kelly, Utica, and Irene Seidler, SC; and a special cousin, Helen Kennerknecht, New Hartford. Marian is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Marian was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Luley, in 2011; a sister, Adeline Halpin; and three brothers, Robert, Alvin and Edward Kennerknecht.
