Aurelia Celeste Pierce was the daughter of John Pierce and Harriett Vernell. She grew up in Jefferson County, Tennessee. There she met and married William N. Pluckett sometime around 1890. The couple had a large family: Blance in 1890; Frederick W. in 1898; Erenst in 1900; Estel N. in 1902; Clifforn N. in 1904; Clarence E. in 1906; Mary Ruth in 1908; and Roy E. in 1910. After the death of her husband - sometime before 1928, she moved to Kenton County, Kentucky where she lived the remainder of her life.
