Mrs. Leona Schleh, 76, of St. Nazianz, died Saturday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:45 am Tuesday in Christianson-Deja Funeral Home and 10 am in St. Gregory Catholic church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril Dickrell will officiate and burial will be in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Schleh, nee Leona Garthoeffner was born Oct. 1, 1901 at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Edward and Christina Koenig Garthoeffner. She attended St. Gregory School and was married to Joseph Schleh June 12, 1919 in St. Nazianz.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Roman, of New Holstein; three daughters, Betty Fay Schleh of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Jerome (Joann) Ryan of West Point, Neb., and Mrs. James (Margie) Schnell of Sheboygan; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Arlene Schleh of St. Nazianz; a sister, Mrs. Betty Olson of Manitowoc; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A son, Gerald preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock the Monday afternoon where a parish prayer service will be at 8 o'clock.
