Sister M. Baptista, 85, of Holy Family Convent, Alverno, died Friday
morning at the convent.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Convent Chapel,
the Rev. D.F. Hurley officiating. Burial will be in the convent cemetery.
Sister Baptista was born March 13, 1875, at Alverno, daughter of the late
Charles and Theresa Bradl Neuser. She entered the order Aug. 12, 1896,
and was in the 65th year of her profession when she died. Two sisters,
also members of the Franciscan order, and two brothers preceded her in
death.
Survivors include two sisters, Sister M. Tarsilla of Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, and Sister M. Charles of Holy Family Convent and several nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call at the convent from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Pfeffer Funeral
