Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Carter Chapel, West Plains, with Rev. Keith Cunningham officiating. Mr. Barth died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1976 at the VA Hospital at Poplar Bluff MO, where he had been a patient for five days.

He was born Jul. 25, 1893 at Sumner IA, the son of the late John and Carrie Moser Barth. He was married Jun. 4, 1960 at West Plains to Lydia Herrboldt.

Mr. Barth was a member of the First Christian Church at Pomona and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lydia Barth, West Plains; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Boller, Champlin MN and Mrs. Emma Wallin, South St Paul MN; and one nephew, Harry Barth, Cedar MN.

Preceding him in death are his parents and an infant sister.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 8 pm in the Carter Chapel, West Plains. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
