Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 1998, at the Holy Family convent Chapel. Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O. Praem., will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial at the Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Sandra Schultheis was born July 20, 1936, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of Florence (Milstead) and the late Paul Schultheis. She entered the convent in 1954, professing her vows with the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in 1956. Sister Mary Lina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Family College, Manitowoc. She served as an elementary teacher at St. Agnes Green Bay; St. Willibrord, Chicago; St. Benedict, Cambridge; and St. Agnes, Mingo Junction, Ohio. She also served as a volunteer at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio; a Nursing Assistant in St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse; and a Geriatric Aide at St. Joseph Home, West Point, Neb. Since June 1997, she had been residing in St. Rita Health Facilities at the Motherhouse.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; her mother, Florence Schultheis, Zanesville, Ohio; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Agnes and Frank Russo, Mansfield, Ohio, and Dorothy and Tom Durant, Zanesville, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Cathy Schultheis, Niwot, Colo.; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Holy Family Convent Chapel
