She worked as a floral designer at Daut Brothers Florists, as an assistant teacher for special needs children, and as a secretary at South Shores Elementary School before her retirement. She was a long time member of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church where she was part of the Ladies Bible Study and where she served the Lord in many ways over the years. She loved the Lord and overcame by his blood. She married Henry 'Ted' Zientara on December 16, 1939. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1995.
Surviving are her sons, Wayne (Paula) Zientara and David (Mary) Zientara, daughters, Linda (Larry) Harris, Sandra ( Wilmer) Reichmann and Janet (Fred) Newland, grandchildren Gina Zientara, Alison Zientara, Heidi (Dave)Bromund, Todd (Leanne)Reichmann, Adam (Lisa) Reichmann, Eric (Jamie) Newland and Brian Newland, great-grandchildren, Hugh and Claire, two sisters, Betty (Dick)Moore and Norma Atteberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ted, brother, Walter, and sisters Marilyn Ananias and Dorothy Bork.
