Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Lau, 78, who died Aug. 9 at her home at 622 Forest St. Hartford, were held last Friday.
The Rev. James Castillo officiated at the 2 p.m. services in Peace Lutheran church, Hartford. Interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, in that city.
Mrs. Lau, the daughter of Frank and Johannah Mertz Luedtke, was born Oct. 2, 1898, in town Addison. She married Walter Lau May 22, 1921, in Emmanuel Lutheran church, town Herman.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid and Sewing Circle of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Janet Christenson, Hartford; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Mueller, Mrs. Ray Birk, both of Hartford, Mrs. Clarence Krubsack, Wisconsin Rapids; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mrs. Regina Luedtke, Mayville, Mrs. Emma Buerger, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lau, Hartford.
