Logan Paul Eisenhauer
September 4, 1979 – October 12, 2012

Logan Paul Eisenhauer, age 33, was born on September 4, 1979, and passed sweetly from his mother's arms into the arms of his Savior on October 12, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, after a lengthy illness. Logan was born in La Junta, Colorado, to Harry D. Eisenhauer, Jr., and Paula Fullmer Mitchell. He was raised in Canon City, Colorado, where he attended school, played soccer, and made many friends. He also lived in Denton and Dallas, Texas, and Fruita, Colorado. Logan graduated from Denton High School and attended ITT Technical Institute in Dallas. He was a computer guru and was most recently employed as IT Director for a Dallas television station. Logan was a shining star with an infectious smile. He was popular, fun, and energetic. He had a brilliant mind and was a gifted artist as well as an avid outdoorsman. He has an endless list of friends as he never met a stranger. Logan will be remembered for his huge heart, sensitivity, and compassion. He had a soft spot for the less fortunate, for children and the elderly, and animals. Logan had an undeniable testimony of Jesus Christ. He was very spiritual and became a scholar of the scriptures. He shared his beliefs, having conversations with his friends and family about God's plan for us. The knowledge of this gives his family comfort at his parting, knowing that he is serving the Lord now in a greater capacity. Logan is survived by his parents, Kevin J. and Paula Fullmer Mitchell of Fruita, Colorado; his father, Harry D. Eisenhauer, Jr. of Espanola, New Mexico; his brother, H.D. (Nichole) Eisenhauer III of San Antonio, Texas, and their children H.D. IV, McKenna, and Emilia; his sister, Emily Nichole Eisenhauer of Dallas, Texas; his son, Trinity Eisenhauer and his lovely mother, Delain Hughes Diem, of Austin, Texas; his grandfather, John Paul (Ramona) Fullmer of Gunnison, Colorado; his grandparents, Harry D. and Theresa Eisenhauer, of Lamar, Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his step-siblings, Amanda Mitchell (Alan) Varbel, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; James T. (Stephanie) Mitchell of Crook, Colorado; and Abigail Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Logan is predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Marjorie Robinson Fullmer, and his special aunt, Ellen Christine Fullmer. Services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 810 North 11th Street, Gunnison, Colorado. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. A graveside celebration will follow. Arrangements entrusted to Callahan-Edfast Mortuary of Grand Junction, Colorado. Our heartfelt thanks go to the ICU doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their expert yet tender care of Logan during the last week of his life. In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established for Logan's 11-year-old son. Contributions may be made to the 'Trinity Eisenhauer Education Fund' at Grand Valley Bank, 452 S. Maple, Fruita, CO 81521.
