Anderson- Donna Marcella Zirkle, 97, of Anderson, passed away on October 23, 2012 at Countryside Manor Health Care, Anderson after a brief illness. She was born on November 20, 1914 in Henry County, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a homemaker and was a member of New Horizons United Methodist Church.
Marcella is survived by her son, Kevin (Becky) Zirkle of Tokyo, Japan; daughter, Donna (Kirby) Lupton of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Allen, Mary (Adam) Chute, Joel Zirkle, Amy Lupton, and Kyle (Kendra) Lupton; great granddaughters, Mae Allen, Irene Allen, Kinsey Lupton, and Kora Lupton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Watkins, mother, Pearlie (Hankins) Watkins, husband, Woodrow Zirkle in 1994, son, Sid Zirkle, and brother, Donald Watkins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 01, 2012 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana.
Services will be Thursday, November 1, 2012, 2:30 pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Hackney officiating.
Burial will take place in the Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
