A service was at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Frankfort. �
A prayer service was at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. �The Rev. Jim Shaughnessy officiated. Moogie Roeder was organist. Lynn Bramhall sang "Amazing Grace," "On Eagles Wings" and "How Great Thou Art." ������������
Pallbearers were Craig M. Carr, James C. Maas, Vincent T. Maas, Joseph G. Maas, Phillip F. Maas, Daniel H. Maas, Stephen G. Maas and Michael Maas.
Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery near Frankfort.
Ramona Maas was born Feb. 3, 1919, at Bigelow, the daughter of Milo and Freda Berg Summers. �She attended Pottawatomie and Marshall County rural schools. �She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1937.
She married Frank Gaston in December 1938. �They lived in Frankfort for two years before moving to Kansas City, Kan. In 1975 they returned to Frankfort. �He died April 1981.
She married Albert A. Maas April 15, 1983, at Frankfort. He survives.
She was a member of Annunciation Church and the Presbyterian Church. �She was an elder on the session and president of United Presbyterian Women, member of Eta Gamma, Civic Club and Tuesday Club. �She enjoyed playing bridge, crocheting and making silk flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Albert; two daughters, Geneva M. Carr, Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Jo Ann Gaston, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 13 step-children, Albert F. Maas, James C. Maas, Vincent T. Maas, Joseph G. Maas, Phillip F. Maas, Daniel H. Maas, Stephen G. Maas, Roseanne Schmidt, Mary P. Cubit, Therese G. Kopp, Elaine M. Havel, Margaret M. Grohmann and Christine M. Kalis; one sister, Darlene Lucas, Junction City; 46 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions for the Frankfort Ambulance Service may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort.
