I have recently started researching my family background, and I find it facinating. When I have time away from my mortgage business and family, I try to work on my genealogy.

I am working on the following Georgia families:

Bevers, Hadaway, Griggs, Lester, Rakestraw, Maddox, Bullock, Kidd, Carter, Tippin, Hawkins, and Sorrells of Georgia.

Also, I am researching the North Carolina families of Wheeler, Patrum, Bowman, Shoe, Lankford, Shoffner, and Fogleman.
