The Metzler family has a long history in the Linden, California, community, dating back to 1903, when the family arrived from San Luis Obispo County, California.
I am the youngest of Charles Metzler's 21 grandchildren, and the younger daughter of his youngest son, Albert Metzler.
As of this writing, November 17, 2014, only four of those 21 grandchildren remain: Margaret Metzler Brown Simmons, Henry Lee Metzler, Eleanor Metzler Dawson, and Martha Metzler Fry.
