Bio
Montgomery County, Maryland native with roots in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia back to colonial times. Earliest known ancestor to the Maryland shore was Richard Warfield, an indentured servant who arrived in 1648. Virginia ancestry dates back to Job Jakeman, an English gardener who arrived in Norfolk some time in the late 1700's. District of Columbia roots date back to the early 1800's on both my maternal and paternal lines. Those ancestors traveled to DC from VA, IL, OH and VT. My Vermont Williams ancestors were originally from Massachusetts and descend from John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley, Mayflower passengers.
