It gives a glimpse of a person besides their birth, death, marriage and children. I have a computer systems background, so I like the data to be as accurate as possible. Plus, the thrill of putting another puzzle piece in place for those that came before us. Taking a picture of the tombstone helps preserve what we can read because as we have seen over the years, that even some stone wears away.
