Bio

a member of an old German family who came to Quincy in 1837. Some were first buried at the old German and Irish cem at 18th and maine st, later Bernard H. Geers and family were moved to St. Boniface on the Kathmann lot.Also is buried my great great great grandfather and mother and great great grandfather and mother in St. Boniface.
after 1906 many Geers went to Calvary Cem on north 18th.
I have many pictures of the Geers' and also being in the grocery business there from 1875-1964, I have most of the store buildings and family in pictures.
I am the last one with that name now in Quincy.
