I am currently updating the 2001 Cemetery Directory for Old St Michael Cemetery in Fort Loramie, Ohio. I have found many incomplete or incorrect entries in the Directory. The headstones where quite dirty and covered with moss, lichens and mold at the time which made reading them extremely difficult. Also, many have German writing on them and the Youth Group that compiled the directory did not realize this or know how to read it. That said, many of the entries are correct and have been a valuable resource for anyone researching this cemetery.
I have been using a great resource to aid in my work, the website FindmyPast.com. It has the burial records for this cemetery and many other Catholic Cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, along with marriage and baptismal records.
