Hi! I'm from Fairfax, MN. Our home property is adjacent to the Bethel Methodist Cemetery/Mud Lake/Cairo Cemetery. I have many pictures of the cemetery & I enjoy visiting other cemeteries between Sioux Falls & home & beyond.

My Dad's side is the Wiethoff/Rieke/Lammers from Renville County, Fairfax, MN (traveled from the East Coast & settled in Renville County by Ft. Ridgely State Park a few yrs before the uprising) & my Mom's side - the Hammond's from Madelia, MN. Governor Hammond of MN was a cousin of my mother's. She grew up on a farm adjacent to the Madelia Wildlife Research facility (formerly Madelia Pheasant Farm) along Hammond Hwy. She was a lifelong Christian music singer/soloist (two albums) & sang for churches, weddings, funerals & gave concerts everywhere - Ettie Faye. A. C. Rieke - a U.S. Congressman from Fairfax, MN was an Uncle of my Dad's.

The Kodet family of Bechyn, MN is my late husband's family along with the Charles Hensley family of Franklin, MN.

My daughter is a Kienlen of Fairfax, MN/Sr. George/New Ulm & Steffl/Schottenbauer of Sleepy Eye, MN. (1st husband).
