Bio

I have been an amateur geneologist since the age of twelve. My family were in part members of the first Lutheran immigrants to South Australia and their settlement in the Barossa Valley and Yorke Peninsula including the Schrapels, Heinrich's and Dutchkes. On my maternal grandmother's side I am related to the early pioneers of the Adelaide Hills including the Brooks family at Uraidla. The Curtis and Murphy families on my paternal grandparents side settled in Houghton and Chain of Ponds. My specific research areas are Curtis, Murphy Gogler and Howat families and their married partners. I am also related to the Seppelt family through Johanna Charlotte Clementine Held Nee Gogler.
I have produced a comprehensive book on the Gogler Family which is only available from me [email protected]. I also have an extensive Family Tree on Geanet.
