1965 Decatur High School graduate. Attended University of Alabama in the School of Nursing Fall of 1965 and graduated Feb., 1969 with a BSN. Employment: General Surgery staff nurse at University Hospital in Birmingham, Al. Staff nurse and Public Health Nurse in Charlotte, N.C. Cardiovascular Staff nurse at University Hospital in Birmingham, Al. Psychiatric Nursing instructor at St. Vincent School of Nursing in Birmingham. Attended Graduate school at University of Alabama School of Nursing, Birmingham, Al with a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing - M.S.N. Taught Nursing at St. Vincent S.O.N, UAB S.O.N. X 3, Wallace State S.O.N, Central Alabama S.O.N. Retired from UAB S.O.N. in 2012. Love to travel, craft / sew and am a curious, lifelong learner.
