I am decorative artist by trade. My journey here began when my sister and I decided to restore 3 family headstones. I really enjoyed the process of cleaning and repainting. I had never heard about volunteers who photograph headstones. I thought what a wonderful way to connect families. I really enjoy fulfilling the requests. It's a shame that the cemeteries are not as enthusiastic to help volunteers. I photograph whatever I can and visit my relatives while I am there.
