Seman 1ST Class Charlie Vinton Booton was born in 1910 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and died December 7, 1941 aboard the USS West Virginia during the Pearl Harbor Attack by the Empire of Japan. His actual body is inturned in the National Military Cemetery of The Pacific on Ohau, Hawaii in Section C Site 624. The Cemetery is refered to as "The Punch Bowl".
