Take Old Rockport Rd to Right on Peltzer Rd Cemetery is on Right

Its old and many stones are broken,The Cemetery has no Entrance
No Parking but a small grassy area at north edge
A Memorial Marker was placed For Susan Johnson in the center of the
Cemetery, Stating that this was the former location Bethany Church,
I noted that all Bates Graves are together and are in what at one time
would have been an elaborate enclosure with stone wall abt 1 ft high
with what appeared a small iron railing,Not much of the enclosure remains

Cemetery is located a mile and a half northeast of the intersection of Yankeetown and Bethany Church Roads, on the north side of the road. (N37.96073 W87.26715)
