Pine Run Cemetery is located in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, on Pine Run Church Road about a half mile west of Route 66. There is a small church in front of the cemetery called "The Community Church of Pine Run." This church has changed denominations at least once. The 1957 survey of Pine Run Cemetery has a good discussion of some of the history of the church. I believe that this church was called the "Evangelical Reformed Church Of Pine Run" in the past. This cemetery is not near any city, town, or village.
Pine Run Cemetery in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, can be confused with a nearby cemetery 3.3 miles away. This nearby cemetery is Pine Run Presbyterian Cemetery near the town of Markle, Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County. Pine Run Presbyterian Church is on White Cloud Road in Markle, but the cemetery is one-half mile away to the north on White Cloud Road.
