Add PhotosThe cemetery was established around the end of the 10th century. It was secularized in 1727 when George Bähr built his church. During excavations in the 1980s and 1990s about 300 vaults along the former cemetery wall were documented. Fewer than a hundred gravestones and epitaphs survived the centuries. Thirteen of them can be seen in the chapel G under the Frauenkirche. 80 other stones are in the lapidary of the Zionskirche (Mount Zion church).
