This cemetery no longer exists. It was destroyed between 1933 and 1960. It was located at the northwest corner of the house lot #2418 Plainfield Pike 1500 feet west of Pippen Orchard Road. Robert Larrivee purchased that property in 1955. The cemetery was destroyed just before or just after he built his house. In 1996 members of the Johnston Historical Society interviewed Mr. Larrivee for a book project. During the interview he did mention that there was a cemetery on his property or the adjacent property. He also stated that there were gravestone fragments in the woods behind his property. In tracing the deed back for this property there are several mentions of a burying ground of three rods square [about 50 ft. x 50 ft.], and rights to access the burying ground "in the northwesterly corner of the parcel." James N. Arnold recorded this lot his #78) – May 24, 1891. (Bk. 2, pg. 21 "On the Olney Angell farm and opposite the farm house beside the Plainfield turnpike yard well care (sic) for although not very well protected." Grace G Tillinghast recorded this burial ground in 1930 for the James Arnold collection: "Plainfield Pike, lefthand side of road 4/10 mi from Thornton, near mailbox of Lewis F. Greene." Charles & Martha Benns recorded this lot in 1933 their #198 described as on "Plainfield Pike, Cranston". This cemetery was originally designated as JN522 and later changed to JN115 after it was registered.
