Elizabeth Bauer, 99, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Mrs. Bauer was predeceased by her husband, Ludwig Bauer; son, Ludwig Gustav Bauer; son-in-law, Eric Dueber. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Else Dueber; grandchildren, Mark and Lesley Bauer, Heidi and Lance Gregg, Eric and Tina Dueber; Matthew Bauer and Rebecca Stoddard; two great granddaughters and four great grandsons; many extended family members in the United States and Germany. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with the Rev. William Moorby, officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial for Elizabeth and her late husband, Ludwig will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
